Windows Mail for Vista Users Only
We have 2 ways for you to use Vista Windows Mail now thanks to Willie, Willie thank you so much!!!
You can choose the eml way or the exe way, whichever you like better.. :-)
The EXE way in using our stationery is to follow the directions below:
- Created a Stationery folder at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery", to download and open your exe files into.
- Right clicked on the new 'Stationery' folder and selected "Create Shortcut"
- Then I 'Copied' the shortcut and
'Pasted' it into
- C:\Users\(Users folder here!)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Stationery
Now when you go
to select Stationery from Windows Mail, you can see the shortcut to the
Stationery folder. For some reason though, left clicking on the shortcut
didn't allow me to enter the installed Stationery folder. But right clicking
on it and selecting OPEN did! So I renamed the shortcut 'Right_Click, &
OPEN'.
(The
beautiful idiosyncrasy was, that once accessed, it always opens in the new
Stationery folder. No more Right clicking!)
